Absolutely. Most students start as complete beginners. I'll begin from where you are — even if that's hiragana from scratch — and build at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Yes — that's one of my favorite things to teach. Tell me your itinerary or the situations you're nervous about, and we'll practice the real Japanese you'll use at restaurants, stations, shops, and ryokan before you go.
